The NEW Cultivate Lakewood opens on 7/1/2024 and we are so excited to share our new home with everyone!

Literally 5 years in the making, our new space is the first time we’ve been able to design and create a studio from the ground up and it feels amazing! We think you’re going to LOVE it and it’s only possible because of YOU!

As we transition in Lakewood, please know that our Avon studio is not going anywhere. We will continue to offer the same robust schedule with the same amazing teachers in our beautiful Cultivate Avon hOMe.

THE NEW CULTIVATE LAKEWOOD

More details about our NEW Lakewood studio

The studio is part of the old Trinity Church property located at:

16400 Detroit Ave

Lakewood, OH 44017

• The studio is in the old school building (suite 101) that is connected to the church on the west side.

• There is plenty of parking available in the lot behind the church (enter on Hall Ave.) but should you need to find a space please explore street parking in the area. Also… carpooling, biking and walking are beautiful options to help our Mother Earth :)

• Parts of the entire property (church, school and retail) are still under construction. Because of this please plan on some extra time for parking and finding your way to the studio and ultimately your mat.

• Normally, you’ll enter the building through a door on the back (north side) of the school building but this may shift from day-to-day while construction is still happening.

• Our new yoga home is much bigger than the Lakewood space that we’re saying goodbye to so hopefully more comfortable and more available to more students. That said, please continue to signup for your classes as early as possible to reserve your spot AND pleeeeeeeasse cancel your reservation as early as possible if you’re unable to attend.

Join us on 7/19 to celebrate the opening of the new Cultivate Lakewood!

We will sing, chant, move, laugh, and breathe together… infusing our new home with the magically charged energy that only community can bring.

Our song circle begins at 6p where you’ll be guided in a eclectic mix of song shares - bring your voice and a drum or rattle if you’d like.

After our song share, we’ll commune around 730p, sharing in some light snacks and loved-fueled connection to explore the new space and welcome in even more bright & beautiful energy.

Come for one or the other or BOTH :)

SUGGESTED DONATION

Beginning in July, we are asking for your continued support by raising our suggested donation amount to $12/class.

Since our inception as a nonprofit GIFT-BASED yoga organization in 2021 (first operating one studio and now two), we have asked our people for a suggested donation of $10/class.

We have been very successful these past 3+ years and have been able to sustain our operations because of all of the donations we have received from our community - we are very very grateful!

As with all businesses, we have felt the sting of rising costs in all aspects of our business and have decided to humbly ask our people if they can share just a bit more with us.

Our intention is to be here for a long time - in service to our community and continuing to offer FREE yoga to anyone who needs it to be. This is our mission and it takes ALL of us to manifest this dream. Our goal is to offer high quality yoga, with amazing teachers, in beautiful spaces far into the future… still at a relatively low cost!

We hope you understand our decision to shift and need to evolve. We need your support to survive and thrive. Together we will exist for years to come!

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Recently we shifted how we offer workshops and events at Cultivate.

The majority of workshops and special events are now organized directly by our teachers - creating an environment where our teachers are free to share the content that they are truly feeling called to share with our community. Whether it’s a Sound Bath, Reiki or Ecstatic Dance… each month we are hosting a beautiful array of offerings that we hope resonate with our people.

Because these special events are organized by our teachers directly, each one will have a different signup process (outside of our normal class signup via Mindbody). We know this can be confusing so we tried our best to consolidate this information in common locations.

Here is where you can find all of the info on upcoming workshops and events (including community events outside of the studios like volunteering and other gatherings):

We have seen the creativity flowing since making this change - it feels like the best way to support our teachers and bring new offerings to our community.

“Excited” does not quite encompass the emotion we are feeling when we think of welcoming you to our new space. Our hearts are bursting with joy and gratitude! There are no more words on this for now… you just have to feel it to believe it :)

Now officially in our 4th year operating in our unique way, Cultivate have been offering nonprofit GIFT-BASED YOGA at our studios since January 2021 and remain dependent on individual donations to sustain our community for ALL.

The Cultivate community will thrive in the years to come thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone within it :)
